The Automated Learning Group at NCSA is always looking for talented undergraduate and graduate students studying in areas such as Computer Science, General Engineering, and Environmental Engineering who are interested in the particular problems posed by work in the field of data mining. We are especially interested in students with experience or desire for programming in Java.

Most problems that students work on are project-based and would be supervised by the Technical POC for that project. General areas that our students are currently working in include, text mining, image mining and software development for data mining applications.
